Hi Raphael, Follow up on an old bug report for zim:
Finally got around fixing zim to work with Gtk2::StatusIcon and believe this fixes the problem. Tested under xfce by killing the panel process and starting a new one, zim icon is back in the tray after restart. Requires gtk+ >= 2.10 with matching Gtk2 perl bindings.
