In the past 5 days I've had 33,973 ALSA errors logged to my .xsession-errors
file.  It's now 2.3 Megs and growing fast, a rate of 17k per hour.  I'm not
using any audio devices on my machine, so I'd like to know what app or apps
is trying to use sound.
