Hi,
I just had the same error again (on a new mail though). Repeatable - I
tried three times and got the error each time.
Then I disabled ssl in offlineimap, ran wireshark to debug the network
traffic - and the error did not occur anymore. Now I'm waiting for it to
resurface with some new mail again...
