Quite simply noip2 is exiting with no message. This seems to happen around the time that my provide regularly cuts my link (every 24 hours) so I suspect that noip2 is not dealing with this properly. The logs contain useful: May 6 18:23:29 lasagne noip2[3257]: v2.1.7 daemon started with NAT enabled May 6 18:23:30 lasagne noip2[3257]: dione.no-ip.org set to 85.181.141.64 May 6 18:59:36 lasagne noip2[3257]: v2.1.7 daemon ended. You'll gather from that that my name provider is no-ip.com. I have gone back to no-ip version 2.1.1-4 and this works fine. If there is anything you would like my to try then let me know.
