ATM svn-buildpackage errors out, if the .orig.tar.gz cannot be found (e.g. in mergeWithUpstream mode). What about to try to get the tarball from the Debian archive, if it cannot be found? dpatch e.g. uses this one in such a case: apt-get --tar-only source $package=$version What's your opinion?
