Package: hpijs Version: 2.8.2+2.8.2-1 Severity: important
Once the HP business inkjet 2230 is turned on it only can accept the first print job. After finishing the first job it stops reacting / freezes with a blinking led and the display message "PRINTING" and/or "CANCELLING JOB" (where "READY" would be the normal state). It can continue printing only after powering the printer off and on again. This makes the printer completely unusable with hpijs. The problem does not occur when printing from windows or using "Gutenprint v5.0.2", which produces poor quality output. hpijs had worked some time ago, too. Unfortunately I can not tell when it broke... Here are the settings I use: Printer: HP2230_HPIJS Description: Location: Printer Driver: HP Business Inkjet 2230 Foomatic/hpijs, hpijs 2.8.2.10 - HPLIP 2.8.2 Printer State: idle, accepting jobs, published.
