Package: acpid Version: 1.0.6-6 Hello,
since 1.0.6-6 acpid includes basic support for power-button-handling again. This was intentionally removed in 1.0.6-2 (see the changelog there) and the removal resolved lots of bugs. There exists a whole package (acpi-support-base) whose only intention is to add basic support for power-button-handling without any overhead of the other acpi-support-packages. Perhaps acpid should just recommend that one instead of re-inventing all the problems that were resolved by removing the power-button support fromt he acpid package itself. regards Mario -- <delta> talk softly and carry a keen sword
