Subject: genisoimage: Video-DVD filesystem not readable under Windows Package: genisoimage Version: 9:1.1.7.1-1 Severity: important
*** Please type your report below this line *** Windows cannot read the filesystem of DVD-Video. The explorer shows only an empty table of content. However, Linux can mount and read it properly and DVD player can playback the video. I tested this with 3 different notebooks, all with Debian Lenny, and three different Windows versions (Me, XP, Vista). I tried k3b and k9copy, both are affected. I did not try genisoimage at the command line, but I assume that this program causes the problem because both k3b and k9copy call it as a sub-program. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24.3 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages genisoimage depends on: ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.5-0.1 high-quality block-sorting file co ii libc6 2.7-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libmagic1 4.24-2 File type determination library us ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-12 compression library - runtime genisoimage recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
