Package: maildrop Version: 2.0.4-3 Severity: important For certain emails with attachments, attempting to pipe the message fails with:
"(temporary failure. Command output: ERR: authdaemon: s_connect() failed: No +such file or directory maildrop: error writing to mailbox. /usr/bin/maildrop: +Unable to deliver to mailbox.)" This is not, in fact, an authorization problem as only emails with attachments (perhaps the problem is with emails of a particular size?) fail in this manner. Here's the mailfilter code that I used to recreate the problem. to sees the same problem. cc "| /bin/true" Might this be related to bug 332543? -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-cjr (PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages maildrop depends on: ii courier-authlib 0.60.1-2 Courier authentication library ii libc6 2.7-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3.0-3 GCC support library ii libgdbm3 1.8.3-3 GNU dbm database routines (runtime ii libpcre3 7.4-1+lenny1 Perl 5 Compatible Regular Expressi ii libstdc++6 4.3.0-3 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii postfix [mail-transport-age 2.5.2~rc2-1 High-performance mail transport ag maildrop recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
