Package: usplash Version: 0.5.19-1 Followup-For: Bug #468735
Yes, adding usplash_write QUIT before the call to resume in /usr/share/initramfs-tools/scripts/local-premount/{resume,uswsusp} fixes the problem. Also resuming with nosplash kernel parameter.
