Bug#399360: python-central: Version 0.5.10 causes updatemanager applet in Gnome not to start - and Desktop items not to be displayed

I can't reproduce it as of today. python-central is now at version  
0.6.7 and update-manager may have been updated as well.

Can you still reproduce the bug, or should it be closed?
