Package: kexec-tools Version: 20080324-2 More than half the upstream source files have no copyright or license statement in them. There is also no ChangeLog in any of them AFAICS (which is a violation of the GPL). The package looks like upstream doesn't care much about these things, but it could be good to let them know in a friendly way that it might be better to add these notices.
debian/copyright contains some errors: - The copyright statement says 2003-2005. It's likely longer than that. - The stated license is GPL 2 only. For most files (with a license) this is true. For 2 of them, it is "2 or later". The link to the full text however points to the "latest version", which is currently 3. Since upstream obviously means the thing to be free, I wouldn't consider it a priority issue, but it would be nice if it would be sorted out some time.
