Package: emboss-explorer Version: 2.2.0-5 Severity: normal Hi all,
I installed emboss-explorer on my work computer, and wanted to use it from the Macintosh of a colleague. While it worked well in general, it did not manage to serve the emboss logo of the documentation pages. I have the following error in the logs: [Tue Jun 10 20:18:43 2008] [error] [client 10.64.135.3] client denied by server configuration: /usr/share/doc/emboss-explorer/html/emboss_icon.jpg, referer: http://anx159/cgi-bin/emboss/help/vectorstrip /usr/share/doc/emboss-explorer/html is a symbolic link to `../../EMBOSS/doc/html/emboss/apps'. Strangely, the html page displayed for the documentation is also in this directory. It is however not displayed directly, but through URLs like: `http://computer.example/cgi-bin/emboss/help/vectorstrip' I am not sure is this bugs belongs to upstream or our packaging, and I do not know enough of Apache to figure out what makes the localhost requests different from the local network requests. Any idea ?
