Your code looks good to me and fairly identical to what I ended up using a few days earlier. The one thing that seems to be missing is a check whether the host supports continued transfers (src/clive/parse.py.in: PageParser::_get_filename). While I greatly appreciate all contributions and help, it may be best to try to coordinate some of the efforts to prevent us from working on the same things without any idea of each others.
