Package: xchat Version: 2.4.3-0.1 Severity: wishlist xchat is making replies like:
VERSION xchat 2.4.3 Linux 2.6.11.7 [i686/1.40GHz] VERSION xchat 2.4.2 FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE [i386/668.00MHz] There's no reason to report to the world kernel version or the clock speed, especially since it doesn't seem possible to change the version reply (it was in xchat 1). I don't mean it's that much of a security problem, but it's just silly. Replies like `VERSION xchat 2.4.3 Linux [i686]' or even `VERSION xchat 2.4.3 Linux' would be perfectly fine. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
