Package: epiphany-gecko Severity: important
I noticed that since the upgrade on monday 9th or tuesday 10th, the CPU load has reached very high values. As the platform is a laptop, this mean high temperature, fan always on, and the like. I have around ten tabs opened, all with static content, the only dynamic is the homepage at fr.news.yahoo.com Under epiphany, CPU speed is 1Ghz (maximum allowed), and CPU percentage for epiphany around 75-80 %, a few % for Xorg, the rest being anecdotic, system not idle at all. Under mozilla (iceape-browser/sid uptodate 1.1.9-5), CPU speed is 500MHz (minimum speed), CPU percentage for this task mostly absent from the list, with occasional appearances at 20 %. System idle at 90%. The only activated extension for both is flashblock. In epiphany, closing the tab with fr.news.yahoo.com helps a bit, but not that much. Could you please check ?
