merge 485740 486600

Hi,
This bug is already reported as 486600. I'm merging both.
A quick workaround is to remove and reinstall tailor.
If you find a way to reproduce the bug from a clean system
(ie from a system where tailor is not installed at the begining),
I would be very interested.
