Package: snmpd Version: 5.4.1~dfsg-7.1+lenny1 Severity: important Tags: patch
Current version doesn't allow -LS option as described in the snmpcmd manpage. This broke some of my test machines with "invalid syslog facility: -" while using "-LS 0-4 d" which is working with current stable version. As I don't want to allow messages of priority 5 (this will fill in my syslog), I'm marking this as important. The fix is available upstream, see: http://net-snmp.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/net-snmp/trunk/net-snmp/snmplib/snmp_logging.c?r1=15443&r2=16721, and 5.4.2 will fix it.
