Package: nsca
Version: 2.4-3
Followup-For: Bug #270796

A possible solution would be to split the package. The server part could
then depend on nagios but the the client part could omit this dependancy
and perhaps recommends nagios-plugins instead.

I've prepared packaging for this scenario. source is apt-get source'able
