Package: xfce4-mixer Version: 4.4.2-3 Severity: normal I left xfce4-mixer running for several days (probably 9 as that's how long the machine has been up). I killed it when I noticed that htop was reporting it using 23% of the meory on a 2GB machine.
Restarting it, it uses a rather more reasonable 0.6% memory. I'll leave it open again and see if the usage creeps up. <wait 2 days> yes - it's now using 10% of my memory. Lokos like somethina has a memory leak. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-1-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xfce4-mixer depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.22.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.7-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.6.4-1+b1 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libfontconfig1 2.5.0-2 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.3.5-1+b1 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libglib2.0-0 2.16.3-2 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.12.9-3 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.20.2-2 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpixman-1-0 0.10.0-2 pixel-manipulation library for X a ii libpng12-0 1.2.27-1 PNG library - runtime ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library ii libxfce4mcs-client3 4.4.2-3 Client library for Xfce4 configure ii libxfce4util4 4.4.2-2 Utility functions library for Xfce ii libxfcegui4-4 4.4.2-4 Basic GUI C functions for Xfce4 ii libxml2 2.6.32.dfsg-2 GNOME XML library ii libxrender1 1:0.9.4-1 X Rendering Extension client libra ii xfce4-mixer-alsa 4.4.2-3 Xfce4 Mixer ALSA backend ii xfce4-panel 4.4.2-6 The Xfce4 desktop environment pane ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-12 compression library - runtime xfce4-mixer recommends no packages. -- no debconf information ______________________________________________________________________ This email has been scanned by the MessageLabs Email Security System.
