Package: dpkg
Version: 1.14.19
Followup-For: Bug #325328

Just noting that this would be a great feature, especially if the
editor could launch with both old and new files. It would be a real
timesaver and would materially improve the way I administer my system.
If you'll accept a patch please let me know and point me to the right
spot in the source code; maybe I can help.
