Package: splashy
Version: 0.3.10-2
Followup-For: Bug #465729

  Hi,

I'm experiencing probably the same bug with the current version of splashy in
unstable. At some point the boot process stops without starting X/kdm.
Moreover, the
keyboard is unresponsive (Caps-Lock does not even toggle the LED).

Here again X seems to start but fail immediately with :

Fatal server error:
xf86OpenConsole: VT_WAITACTIVE failed: Interrupted system call

(found in Xorg.0.log and kdm.log, I attach the Xorg log)

I set CHVT_TTY=7 in /etc/default/splashy but this makes no difference.

At the moment I use a wireless network connection which is activated after I
log in,
so it is not possible for me to debug through SSH. I can do it later if needed,
though.

  Jeremie
