This is wrong. Even snapshots have distinct UUIDs:
--- Logical volume ---
LV Name /dev/chroots/sid-amd64
VG Name chroots
LV UUID xEydGR-VwOY-NJcA-JUF1-fvj3-lQfw-ZguuoZ
LV Write Access read/write
LV snapshot status source of
/dev/chroots/sid-amd64-264b63d1-2ef8-48f5-9e0b-c9df586c10df [active]
[...]
--- Logical volume ---
LV Name
/dev/chroots/sid-amd64-264b63d1-2ef8-48f5-9e0b-c9df586c10df
VG Name chroots
LV UUID z3ktBx-Pmpd-fXtz-vYzj-m3sR-Kuv1-0GWqHR
LV Write Access read/write
LV snapshot status active destination for /dev/chroots/sid-amd64
Please remove the wontfix tag.
