i setup manual proxy at school and when i got back home i forgot about it
and started iceweasel... it took it 2min to start (maybe longer...i forgot i
clicked on !) and then their was no connection to the internet and no
indication it did not find the proxy. i got the last page i was at (looks
like offline mode, but it was in online mode!)
i took me some time to remember it was the proxy and i changed it and then it
worked :-)
so what i am saying... can you please add some indication anywhere visible
that firefox is looking for the proxy and if it can not find it...please
indicate that too.
and the big issue is that when it loads (and no window is available, yet )
their should be some indication that it started loading or that it is looking
for the internet (maybe to check extentions and updates... ?)
unless i start it in console, i have no other indication that something is
happening after i click the iceweasle icon.
maybe a splash screen with some init progress bar ?
(checking connection..., loading extensions..., checking updates...)
kindly,
nadav :-)
