for all my SATA and PATA disks here on a 2.6.26-rc8 kernel using libata and Debian unstable/experimental packages. My scsi_id.config looks similar.
(A workaround that I've been using to have less of a hassle with changing device names is to use LVM on many machines: /dev/mapper/foo-bar doesn't change as often. Unluckily not on this one. I'll just have to remember to update my crypttab once udev gets updated...)
