It seems that wengo chose to harass their customers without
explanation (typical too-big-corporate-telecom strategy):

So this is at least a big "no go" for paid services.

There are even suggestion to drop wengophone at Gentoo:

I guess wengo is dead, unless dependency from wengo as a company is dropped.
