Package: pidentd
Version: 3.0.19.ds1-1
Severity: wishlist

When using with inetd/tcpsvd on each connection a message is logged which looks
like:
----
daemon.debug: Jul  9 05:48:10 identd[31682]: started
----

I would like to suppress this messages. Either this is a leftover debug message
and could be suppressed in the code, else it would be nice to have a command
line option -q/--quiet to suppress logging.

In my setup pidentd is started with the following run file under runit:

----
#!/bin/sh
exec tcpsvd -u daemon:nofiles 88.198.45.148 ident /usr/sbin/identd -i
----

Best Regards,

        Jorge-Leon
