Package: pidentd Version: 3.0.19.ds1-1 Severity: wishlist When using with inetd/tcpsvd on each connection a message is logged which looks like: ---- daemon.debug: Jul 9 05:48:10 identd[31682]: started ----
I would like to suppress this messages. Either this is a leftover debug message and could be suppressed in the code, else it would be nice to have a command line option -q/--quiet to suppress logging. In my setup pidentd is started with the following run file under runit: ---- #!/bin/sh exec tcpsvd -u daemon:nofiles 88.198.45.148 ident /usr/sbin/identd -i ---- Best Regards, Jorge-Leon -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5-vserver-k7 Locale: LANG=de_AT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_AT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages pidentd depends on: ii adduser 3.102 Add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8c-4etch3 SSL shared libraries ii netbase 4.29 Basic TCP/IP networking system ii passwd 1:4.0.18.1-7 change and administer password and pidentd recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
