/usr/bin/dbus-launch is part of dbus-x11, which is not installed on my machine. The strange thing is that "gnome" package is installed, and it does not depend on dbus-x11. After installing dbus-x11, the problem disappeared. So, this bug should be re-named (and re-assigned) to "gnome should depend on dbus-x11". Then you for help. -- Alexandra N.
