Well, I could ... somehow :) I cannot really switch to .25 yet due to
some md lockup problems and some strange v4l1/2 interface changes which
confuse vlc. Luckily...

Anyways... Even if it would be "fixed" in .25 - the udev 0.124-1
ChangeLog says:
* Made 2.6.18 the oldest supported kernel version.
Wouldn't this be reason enough to keep udev's own alias in place?
