The same error message is also mentioned twice at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=483470 Jérémy, in your recent tests with rdate, did you see this error message? I tested version 1:1.1.3-2 and couldn't see the error message. I'm running linux-image-2.6.22-2-amd64: ii linux-image-2.6.22-2-amd64 2.6.22-4 Linux 2.6.22 image on AMD64
