That's my iPod nano's disk, and 1.0.2-2 refused to read its partition table altogether: I don't remember the exact error, but it said something about the partition table being "unsupported" IIRC. However, that's in actual fact a much better idea, as once I gave fatresize a reasonable size it trashed the partition table.
