Hi,
Initially I used pstotext for both PS and PDF to try to cut down
dependencies. However, that's giving problems with some documents as you say,
so for the moment I'm just going to use a more robust PDF converter (from
poppler-utils as you suggest), even if that means more dependencies for dhelp.
I have been trying a couple of times with it, and it seems to behave
better. I'm going to upload a new dhelp version very soon with that fix (and
using a "private" temporary directory).
