Package: semi Version: 1.14.6+0.20070618-1 Severity: important
mime-edit.nl has a (require 'sendmail) and this gives an error when it can't find /usr/bin/mail or /usr/lib/sendmail. Given that semi doesn't depend on mailx or mail-transport-agent, this results in a compilation failure of mime-edit.el. This in turn causes compile errors in reverse dependencies such as wanderlust, which marks those packages unusable. (E.g. install emacs22 and wl on a fresh system with only base installed and it gives a load error when you try to start wl) -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.25-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages semi depends on: ii apel 10.7-2 portable library for emacsen ii emacs22-gtk [emacsen] 22.2+2-2 The GNU Emacs editor (with GTK use ii flim 1:1.14.9-2 library about internet message for ii make 3.81-5 The GNU version of the "make" util semi recommends no packages.
