Hmm, I don't know how it should look like. So please update grub-common (and better grub-pc also) to 1.96+20080724-2 which should be in the next days in testing on the mirrors. Recreate your devicemap with grub-mkdevicemap --no-floppy and please check your raid config with mdadm.
