It's probably not much use, but I tracked down the patch. The page referred to above is archived at <http://web.archive.org/web/20060715192309/http://linux-vserver.org/FC4+patched+rpm's> along with the source RPM. I extracted the patch from that and am attaching it in case anyone feels like updating it.
