Severity: important

Hello,

Due to a debian/rules configuration where
the variable XKBCOMP is set to "/no/thanks",
the 'symbols.dir' file is not being updated
when the package is built from sources.

Is there a reason for setting XKBCOMP to such
a value? Why this 'feature' is not documented
in changelog or README.Debian?

Thanks,
Igor Stirbu
