retitle 485392 vlc: MJPEG video files can be seen only at original size

Indeed, sometime in the past I used packages from debian.multimedia.org.
Now I checked on my machine and I have packages only from debian
repository ("apt-cache show ffmpeg libavcodec51 libavdevice52
libavformat52 libavutil49 libpostproc51 libswscale|grep Source" shows
ffmpeg-debian). MJPEG files are shown now, but there is another problem:
MJPEG files can be seen only at their original size; double-clicking on
the window or resizing it does indeed resize the window, but the video
size is the same, the rest is black.
For other types of files, the size of the video is correctly changed.
