tags 437188 wontfix thanks Greetings, and thanks for your report! gcl dumped memory images will be stripped if the gcl image is stripped, as the image is produced via unexec, like emacs. The only way around this is to ship both stripped and unstripped gcl images in the gcl package, thereby doubling its size.
