I think actually guava just has a spurious AC_PROG_LIBTOOL in
src/leon/configure.in; there are no libraries built by the package and no
ltmain.sh file (etc).
But I will talk to upstream about removing the spurious AC_PROG_LIBTOOL.
You are right, there is only spurious AC_PROG_LIBTOOL.
Please could you drop it and regenerate configure.
It looks like guava did build correctly on GNU/kfreeBSD,
so I think this isn't actually an issue (correct me if I'm wrong).
The libtool is too old, in buildd log there are lines
checking how to recognise dependent libraries... unknown
checking if libtool supports shared libraries... no
I scanned build logs as these usually means wrongly built package.
You already have freeze exception for current version, therefore
my suggestion/wish is to wait until current version is in lenny,
after that drop spurious AC_PROG_LIBTOOL for us.
