Package: dpkg-scanpackages Version: 1.13.25 Severity: normal Steps are as follows: 1) Add some user defined control field in the control file. 2) make package using utilitty dpkg-deb 3) Now scanned package created in step 2 using dpkg-scanpackages utility to create Packages.gz file to be uploaded in repository. 4) Packages.gz file does not contain user defined control field.
