tags 466690 + wontfix thanks becaus of the asynchronous device detection (which becomes more and more predominant) it becomes impossible to guarantee that hard disk order is reproducable at boot.
To solve that problem at boot time the UUIDs are good in the fstab. To get fai to use them at install time you can use "fstabkey:uuid" in setup-storage. At install time there is no way to ensure that the harddisks are in a reproducable order. grub however uses the bios to find the first hard drive in order to install its boot record in the (according to the bios) first hard disk. therefor booting the system should work non the less. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
