Which I indeed partly agree with, for the record. I think, but I may be wrong, that the Debian menu came before there was a good standardization about .desktop files (which, if I'm correct, are the way to create entries in most GUI environments). If that's correct, maybe it should be time for both systems to converge (I remember discussions....and disagreements...in -devel, about this). --
