And that, is exactly my problem.  Why do processes have a start time
that is less than the uptime.  Is there another field that needs a
correction or not.

So I have tagged this bug with help because I do need some help with
this.  To me it looks like a problem with the kernel but I'd like some
confirmation:

Why is the 22nd field in /proc/<PID>/stat bigger than the first field in
/proc/uptime ?  It shouldn't be, I think.
