the new upstream version is out at ftp://ftp.belwue.de/pub/unix/sendfile/sendfile-2.1b.tar.gz and does cover: 2001-06-01 New config.guess and config.sub (http://savannah.gnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/*checkout*/config/config) 2005-05-31 Added largefile support. 2005-05-30 Fixed some compile warnings (system includes and data types). Fixed timeout bug when preprocessing huge files. Added support for xinetd. Deactivated buggy check for symbolic links in archive files, needs to be fixed by replacing external tar program with tarlib! 2001-08-14 New config.guess and config.sub (ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/config/) 2001-02-06 Added timeout function in sendfiled. -(snip)- since the 2.1a release according to changelog.
