Package: pmount Version: 0.9.17-2 Severity: important Hello,
I think this bug is different than http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=485110, because I can't mount only devices via firewire. If I test the same device via usb there is no problem. If I type pmount -d /dev/sda2 I get (shorted): resolved /dev/sda2 to device /dev/sda2 Checking for device '/dev/sda2' in '/etc/fstab' mount point to be used: /media/sda2 no iocharset given, current both cases cat /sys/block/sda/removable: 0 with kde-hal-device-manager the entry are the same, only one with use and the other with firewire. Unfortuately I don't know where I have to add the firewire support for pmount. Some time ago - I think it was the etch version of pmount it works perfectly.
