Well, anyone who has a partial 3.3/3.4 system is asking for trouble and probably only has it because they missed some packages that needed upgrading. So I would say the conflict would be useful for a larger group of people (those who forgot to upgrade some packages vs. those who really want a hybrid 3.3/3.4).
