Package: acpid
Version: 1.0.6-10
Severity: normal

I find on different machines (i386 as well as amd64), that after the boot
process acpid is not running.

Xorg.0.log:
(WW) Open ACPI failed (/var/run/acpid.socket) (Connection refused)

Nevertheless acpid starts without problems with
/etc/init.d/acpid start
when the system is up and running.
