Package: apt-cacher-ng
Version: 0.2.5-2
Severity: important

Hi, ac-ng is looking great here, but occasionally I see in aptitude that it
starts a download gets a first pice of data (usually in the bytes range 130B
this time) and then stalls. Cancelling and restarting the download repeats
the process.

The only way to break the cycle is to decide to not download that package
which allows to get the rest of the packages correcly, or restarting ac-ng
and requesting a expiration with checksums.

A expiration without restart ends with aptitud reporting a size mismach
(ac-ng removes the package, so why doesnt it redownload?)

I think that other packages in the download list get downloaded (because
afterwards speed is that of a cache hit) so its like aptitude an ac-ng
are loosing conection.

Apt-cacher-ng.err has nothing related.

I use apt-cacher-ng locally to have a partial mirror for debian-live.
Can it be related to using loopback (127.0.0.1) vs ethX?

Anything you need I am all eyes.

Saludos
    Niko
