The best way to do this would be to ask upstream to include it (at least) in their SVN. However, the last time I tried to contact them, they did not seem to be active any more. So, if you have time to try to get a hold of them, I'd really appreciate that. Also, please send the patch to this bug report, so I can have a look at it as well. Thanks for you work!
