Coin,

Quoting "Vincent Bernat" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

Any news on this bug? Some programs like Balazar3 needs soya.gui which
was introduced in 0.14rc1. Yesterday was released the final 0.14
version.

I'm maintaining this package, and related ones (like balazar) for quite some time now, and for several personnal reasons do not intend to continue. In march i announced to other developpers which could have been interested in continuing this work that they could take over several of my packages (see http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/python-modules-team/2008-March/001903.html), but got no reply at all.

I decided to maintain them until Lenny is out, so that they are in a good shape for release, to avoid them being wiped out of Debian because nobody cares, as there are still interested users. I just won't package newer versions.

Moreover, this is freeze time now, meaning newer packages shouldn't enter Debian is they don't solve problems for the upcoming release (not to block unstable for pushing fixes).

As you are a developper, you may feel like taking over the package and working on newer versions in experimental right now. If so, just tell me and upload with your name in the maintainer field.
